I'm back from my show! Thank you so much to all the wonderful people who stopped by my booth in Novi, MI last weekend. I was so glad to meet you and to show you my work. 11/19/2007Wow! I can't believe how long it's been since my last update. Big news isI'm back on Etsy! Click the link to the left ot see my Etsy mini. I've also got listings on eBay and you can shop right here on my site as well. I'm everywhere at once! I hope you're all gearing up for the holiday season... my favorite time of year. 10/17/07I took a wonderful class with one of my favorite bead makers, Heather Trimlett. I learned many new techniques and shared two great days with new friends and fellow bead makers.Crimson Alley Art in Sedona, AZ has just updated their website. It looks great! Click below to see what I have currently on eBay.9/19/2007 I'm finally home and I'm thrilled to report that my first show was a huge success. I was so happy to have my mom along to help. We had a great time and the people there were just wonderful. Thanks to all of you who stopped by my booth in Tarrytown. My two best models, Sassy and Becky6/27/2007I've decided to do a show! If you're in the NYC area I'll be at Fall Crafts at the Lyndhurst Estate September 14 - 16. I'm going to be learning a lot about jewelry design in the near future to get ready for the show. I'm very excited! More sets on the site soon!6/23/2007I've already added more sets and I'll try to do so at least once a week. I discovered a new (to me) glass that I LOVE! Dark silvered plum. It's beautiful. I had a great time, met some interesting people and the class was wonderful. Pamela Wolfersberger is a great instructor. I was able to meet one of my "bead idols", Heather Trimlett and even purchased a necklace from her. Happy Birthday to me! Today I'll be back at the torch, playing with all my new glass and tools, and trying to apply all I learned in class. I hope to have new sets on the site by the weekend. Take care!6/5/2007Well, I'm off to my first Bead & Button Show in Milwaukee, WI tomorrow. I'm so excited about everything involved. I'm taking a class with Pamela Wolfersberger and I'll learn all about making vessels. Hers are gorgeous! I'll also get to meet lots of other beadmakers... artists whose work I've admired on line and also those I've met on my favorite online community, Lampwork Etc. I had hoped the new look would be up before the show but... perhaps when I come home I'll log on and it will be here! In the meantime, have a great week everyone and I'll have lots to report when I return. Wish me luck keeping my wallet closed, I'll need it to resist all the cool stuff at this show!!!6/1/2007Welcome to Flaming Heart Studio!I'm very excited to have my new site up and running. I have so much to share with you and this is your portal into my world. Right now, I'm mainly focused on torchworking glass beads. I've got some very exciting classes coming up to enhance my skills.
